Max Richter is contemporary classical composer who has worked on countless scores across film, dance, art and fashion. His minimal compositions, fusing classical instrumentation with electronic elements, have earned Max critical-acclaim and huge number of fans worldwide. Studio Richter Mahr, collaborative space shared with visual artist Yulia Mahr, brings Max's musical minimalism to life in space that he refers to as "more human" than traditional recording studios. Surrounded by woodland, SRM was designed to allow Max and other resident artists to simply focus on their art without technology distracting from process. Foundation of studio setup - spanning live room, control room, Max's writing room and number of programming suites - is RME HDSPe MADI FX card, which allows MADI streams to be passed from room to room across facility seamlessly. Within Max's writing room, RME 12Mic and M-32 Pro Converter units are hidden away out of sight, connecting his enviable collection of synthesisers.
