The Comoros, officially the Union of the Comoros, consists of three main islands and many minor islets in the Indian Ocean, located between Mozambique and the island of Madagascar. "Udzima wa ya Masiwa" (Comorian for "The Union of the Great Islands") is the national anthem of Comoros, adopted upon independence in 1978.
