South Ossetia, (officially the Republic of South Ossetia – the State of Alania), or the Tskhinvali Region, is disputed territory in South Caucasus. It declared independence from Georgia in 1990. The National Anthem of South Ossetia (Ossetian: Республикӕ Хуссар Ирыстоны Паддзахадон гимн), also known as Beloved Ossetia! (Ossetian: Уарзон Ирыстон!) was in 1995.
