Her ancestors were immigrants from White Sea Thrace, and from them she inherited a huge and unique singing heritage. Folklorist and folk singer Zhecho Dolchinkov discovered her professional singing career. For many years she was a chorister and soloist in the "Filip Kutev" State Ensemble. With the ensemble she toured in the biggest concert halls in the world. At the beginning of the 70s of the 20th century, he joined the Folk Song Ensemble of the Bulgarian Television and Radio and the "Mystery of Bulgarian Voices" composition. In June 2010, she was awarded the highest Bulgarian honor - the Stara Planina Order - First Class. Stefka Sabotinova died on July 30, 2010 in Sofia. She was buried in the Central Sofia Cemetery.
