I wanted to see if I could create a 'musical painting', where the lines between the performer and the production completely blur. For this track, 'LOVE,' I wrote the lyrics more like a poem than a standard song. The goal was for the vocals to act as another instrument in the mix rather than standing on top of it. By blending favorite guitar textures with orchestral builds and fragments of musical memories, the result is something fluid and, I think, quite beautiful. You can’t always tell where the voice ends and the music begins. It’s art in motion.
