Among the worlds

Among the worlds... The lyrics are written by Innokenty Annensky in 1901. Annensky lived in Tsarskoe Selo and was a headmaster to Anna Akhmatova, who called Annensky “my only teacher”. Performed by Oleg Pogudin. Among the worlds, in glimmering of heavenly bodies The name of One Star only I repeat... Not because I’d love her But because it is dark with others. And when I am burdened with doubt I pray to Her alone for answers. Not because She emanates light, But just because with Her I don’t need light.
