Explore cursed crypts & forbidden places in a medieval, first-person, co-op dungeon game coming to Steam Early Access https://steam.pm/app/4113160 BEGRAVED FAQ’s Q: Early Access and release A: We’re still locking in our Steam Early Access release date. A demo will be available in February, and our current goal is to enter Early Access in 2026. We expect Early Access to last around 6-8 months, during which we’ll expand the world with new locations, monsters, traps, and equipment, refine core systems, and shape the game together with player feedback. Q: What’s already in the game? A: The game already includes two complete zones and a fully playable core experience. Core mechanics are in place, with support for solo play and 1–5 player co-op. Upgrade and hideout systems are available, and the full replay loop is implemented, with continued improvements based on playtest feedback. Q: What’s coming in 1.0? A: Three new zones (five total), new enemies, relics, and afflictions, plus expanded lore, journals, and progression systems. Q: Will the price change? A: The price will increase at full launch. Early Access is your chance to get in early and help shape the game. We expect the price to be similar to other “Lethal Likes” Q: Post 1.0 support, DLC? Skins? A: We believe in “you buy a game, you get the game.” No paid DLC, skins, or microtransactions, certainly not during Early Access. Version 1.0 is planned as a complete experience. If the game does well, we’d love to continue supporting it with free content updates, but at this time there are no plans for paid additions. Q: Controller support, key binding and pc specs A: We’ll launch with controller support and plan to improve it over time based on player feedback. Rebindable keys and support for different keyboard and mouse layouts are planned for Early Access. Minimum and recommended PC specs can be found on our Steam page, and we’ll keep optimizing throughout Early Access to reach more players and systems. Q: Localization/Language support and accessibility A: We’re actively seeking help with localization, currently on a volunteer basis. If the game launches successfully, we plan to add as many languages as we can, prioritizing demand. Accessibility is important to us, and we aim to implement options during Early Access and have them ready for 1.0. Community feedback will guide many of these features. We currently don’t have spiders in the game, but if we add content that some players might want help with (for example, an “arachnophobia mode”), we’ll consider it, while keeping in mind that Begraved is meant to be a fun but scary experience, and our development resources are limited. Q: Platforms? A: Begraved will launch in Early Access on Steam first. Depending on the game’s success, we’d love to explore releasing on other platforms, including consoles and additional PC storefronts. Q: Creator programs and keys A: We don’t currently have plans for a dedicated creator program. However, we may use well-known key distribution sites for Early Access or the 1.0 release. If you’ve played the Begraved demo and plan to cover the Early Access launch, please reach out to us via our business email with any relevant details or links to your channel. For any content creation questions or issues, our community manager Jade is available on Discord. Q: Who is making Begraved? A: Begraved is being developed by Grip Jaw, a small independent team of four. While three of the developers work at Irongate on Valheim during the day, Begraved is a passion project created in the evenings and on weekends, together with a dedicated community manager. Valheim's development is not affected in any way and both games are completely separate. Although several team members work on Valheim during the day as part of Iron Gate, Begraved is a fully independent project developed in our spare time. It is not affiliated with Iron Gate and does not affect or influence Valheim’s ongoing development.
