🎧 Genesis — Nursery Cryme (1971) | Full Album | Progressive Rock https://youtu.be/IeDS_H_dFyU Nursery Cryme is the third studio album by English progressive rock band Genesis, originally released on 12 November 1971 on Charisma Records. It was the first album to feature drummer/vocalist Phil Collins and guitarist Steve Hackett, marking the beginning of the band’s classic early-70s lineup. Recorded at Trident Studios in London, the album expanded Genesis’ dramatic and literary approach to progressive rock. Blending twelve-string acoustics, Mellotron textures, theatrical storytelling and complex arrangements, Nursery Cryme became a cornerstone of early British prog. Tracks like “The Musical Box” and “The Return of the Giant Hogweed” highlight the band’s dynamic contrasts and imaginative songwriting. 📼 Archival material: @rockarchiveXXcentry 📌 Subscribe for classic prog essentials, rare UK pressings & full album archives. 📀 Tracklist / Chapters Side A 00:00 — The Musical Box 10:25 — For Absent Friends 12:16 — The Return Of The Giant Hogweed Side B 20:25 — Seven Stones 25:32 — Harold The Barrel 28:33 — Harlequin 31:30 — The Fountain Of Salmacis 🎸 Personnel (classic lineup) Peter Gabriel — vocals, flute, percussion Tony Banks — organ, Mellotron, piano Mike Rutherford — bass, 12-string guitar Steve Hackett — electric & 12-string guitars Phil Collins — drums, backing vocals, lead vocal on “For Absent Friends” 📀 Release Information Label: Charisma Records Country: UK Released: 12 November 1971 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album (Gatefold, Scroll Labels) Genre: Rock Style: Progressive Rock 🎸 Genres / Styles: Progressive Rock / Art Rock / Symphonic Rock 🔖 Hashtags: #Genesis #NurseryCryme #ProgressiveRock #ProgRock #CharismaRecords #UKVinyl #1971 #ClassicProg #PeterGabriel #PhilCollins 🎧 Genesis — Nursery Cryme (1971) | Полный альбом | Прогрессивный рок https://youtu.be/IeDS_H_dFyU Nursery Cryme — третий студийный альбом британской группы Genesis, выпущенный 12 ноября 1971 года на лейбле Charisma Records. Композиции «The Musical Box» и «The Return Of The Giant Hogweed» стали знаковыми для раннего британского прогрессивного рока. 📀 Треклист / Таймкоды Сторона A 00:00 — The Musical Box 10:25 — For Absent Friends 12:16 — The Return Of The Giant Hogweed Сторона B 20:25 — Seven Stones 25:32 — Harold The Barrel 28:33 — Harlequin 31:30 — The Fountain Of Salmacis 🎸 Состав участников Peter Gabriel — вокал, флейта, перкуссия Tony Banks — орган, Mellotron, фортепиано Mike Rutherford — бас, 12-струнная гитара Steve Hackett — электрогитара, 12-струнная гитара Phil Collins — ударные, бэк-вокал, ведущий вокал в «For Absent Friends» 🎸 Жанры / Стили: прогрессивный рок / арт-рок / симфо-рок 🔖 Хэштеги: #Genesis #NurseryCryme #ПрогрессивныйРок #ProgRock #CharismaRecords #UKVinyl #1971 #ClassicProg #PeterGabriel #PhilCollins
